Music Lessons
I offer lessons in piano and music fundamentals. Trained in the Western Classical tradition, with experience in pop, jazz, and folk music, I tailor my approach to meet each students' unique needs.

Teaching Style & Method
My goal as a teacher is to build the foundation for a lifelong relationship with music—one that is meaningful, flexible, and personal. For each student, this journey looks different: they may become pianists, producers, composers, multi-instrumentalists, or singer-songwriters. Regardless of their path, a strong foundation in keyboard skills and music theory is essential. I aim to equip my students for a changing musical landscape—one that includes both the unfolding worlds of synthesis, recording, and technology, and the long-standing traditions of technique, theory, and music history.

In my teaching, I emphasize proper alignment, an intuitive and embodied sense of rhythm, and expressive musicality. Once the basics are mastered, lessons evolve to reflect the student's developing interests, allowing them to pursue what excites them most while deepening their skills and artistic voice.

Becoming a musician is not just about what we create—it’s about who we are. Our music reflects our strengths, struggles, and inner worlds. Creating and performing music are generous acts that require bravery, vulnerability, and authenticity. Because music-making can so easily become a source of fear or self-judgment, I work collaboratively with my students to cultivate a healthy, joyful relationship with music—one that can sustain and inspire them for a lifetime.

My training is highly influenced by the Taubman approach, Alexander Technique, and Dalcroz to encourage expressivity and healthy technique.
